REComforted ( rekonfò )
Recomforted is our Nursing Home / Homebound / Hospice ministry which serves individuals who due to illnesses or physical limitations are unable to travel outside of their residence or institution. Our routine visitation provides regular social contact that can prevent our brethren from feeling isolated, helpless and lonely. This initiative also provides a platform for Alleluia Tribe children & youth volunteers to participate in this community service initiative by creating various art work, writing uplifting quotes that when read to them put a smile on the faces of our often-overlooked neighbors in nursing home & homebound patients during weekly visitation. It is a privilege for us to partner with our kids in encouraging others to find peace and comfort in Jesus Christ.
"Blessed be the God and father of our lord Jesus Christ, the father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God".
